नई दिल्ली। विद्या बालन इन दिनों कार चलाना सीख रही हैं। ड्राइविंग से कोसों दूर भागने वाली बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री विद्या बालन को इन दिनों मजबूरन इसे सीखना पड़ रहा है।

विद्या को बॉलीवुड निर्देशक विशाल भारद्वाज की फिल्म इश्किया में अपने किरदार को जीवंत बनाने के लिए ऐसा करना पड़ रहा है। विशाल चाहते हैं कि उनकी फिल्म के कलाकार परदे पर असली कमाल दिखाएं।

फिल्म ओंकारा में अभिनेता सैफ अली खान का उत्तर भारतीय उच्चारण भी विशाल की जिद की देन थी।

इन दिनों विद्या विशाल का आभार जताते नहीं थक रहीं हैं, क्योंकि विशाल ने उनके मन से बहुत बड़ा डर निकाल दिया है।

अब उम्मीद की जा रही है विद्या जल्दी ही कार चलाना सीख लेंगी।

Whether Bipasha Basu approves of it or not is yet to be seen. But, Vidya Balan has signed a David Dhawan comedy, Hook Ya Crook with Bips’s boyfriend John Abraham.

It seems Vidya has developed an affinity towards comedies. While Vishal Bhardwaj’s Ishqya will mark Vidya’s entry in the comedy genre , Hook Ya Crook will be her second.

In Ishqya , Vidya plays up the uncle (Naseeruddin Shah) against his nephew, Arshad Warsi. Hook Ya Crook was to earlier star Telugu star Siddharth with Amrita Rao. But they were dropped and Vidya and John came on board.

After Salaam-e-Ishq , Vidya drops her sedate saree-clad image again for Hook ... Says David, “I was recently watching Vidya in Parineeta and I think she is one of the most beautiful girls we’ve had in the industry. Just working with her would be a pleasure. She has such lovely eyes and a truly Indian face.”

With two hits - “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” and “Heyy Babyy” - in her kitty, Vidya Balan’s career is going great guns and she believes the industry has started offering meaty roles to actresses.

“I’m lucky to be a part of the movie industry when leading ladies are no longer decorative. It’s providential that I started with ‘Parineeta’.”

So is she doing her “Heyy Babyy” director Sajid Khan’s next film?

“There’s been no formal talk on this. Sajid hasn’t offered me the role. I’ve been reading reports that I’m doing the film. Right now he’s writing his next film.”
